Unfortunately, I crashed my bike on February 24 just after completing UCSD’s Tritonman Triathlon. This caused a considerable amount of pain in my right hip when I tried to swim the following day. It also caused pain when I tried running anything faster than a 6:30/mi pace. I decided to drop my swim training for the week and take it easy on the run, while putting out some decent mileage on the bike.
Here is a summary of my training week:
- Swimming: 0 yards
- Cycling: 225 miles
- Running: 26 miles
- Total: 251 miles (~11,600 calories burned)
